What You’ll Be Doing:

🔧 Preparing accurate and detailed estimates for servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and mechanical work.
🚗 Liaising closely with the workshop team to ensure quotes reflect the real scope of work required.
💬 Keeping customers informed with clear, honest, and professional communication about costs, options, and timelines.
🧾 Managing and updating customer authorisations and warranties approvals where needed.
📋 Reviewing completed work against estimates to monitor accuracy and improve future quoting processes.
💬 Supporting the front-of-house and service teams to streamline the customer journey from booking to collection.
💼 Helping maintain workshop efficiency and profitability through effective cost management.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ 3+ years’ experience in a service advisory, estimating, or costing role, ideally within a successful independent or main dealer environment.
✔ A real people person—clear, empathetic, and professional communication skills are essential.
✔ Strong attention to detail—you pride yourself on accurate and thorough work.
✔ Good technical understanding of vehicle systems, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance.
✔ Problem-solving mindset—you can think quickly and find practical solutions.
✔ Highly organised and efficient—you can manage multiple estimates and priorities at once.
✔ Commercial awareness—you understand how to drive profitability while keeping the customer’s best interests in mind.
✔ Familiarity with estimating software and workshop management systems would be a bonus.

💰 Competitive £35,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus (realistic and proven OTE of £41,500 per annum).
📅 Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm—no Saturdays!
🏖 33 days holiday per year (including 8 national Bank Holidays).
