MINI DIGITAL SERVICE HISTORY UPDATES AND CONNECTED DISPLAY
All new MINIs now have Digital Service History records. This means no more service book, plus peace of mind that your service history can’t be lost of falsified.
We are Gloucestershire's only independent MINI specialist with an recognised Trade MINI account. This means we have exactly the same software as the MINI main dealer, able to fully and correctly update your Digital Service History.
We will update your Digital Service History after we complete your service. It then gets replicated on the vehicle's Connected display, keeping a record that is quick and easy for you to access.
BMW | MINI KEY READER
Your key stores all your service date, which we access using our genuine BMW/MINI Key Reader. This includes vehicle details, service history record with dates, any current diagnostic fault codes stored in the vehicle's memory, mileages, what's been performed previously, and what's required now or in the near future – all of which we will keep up to date when you visit us.
PROTECTING YOUR MINI WARRANTY
Your MINI manufacturer's warranty is protected with us
European law, known as 'Block Exemption', changed in 2003 to allow independent garages to carry out an MINI service without invalidating your MINI warranty.
Because we use high quality parts which are either original manufacturer parts or of 'Original Equipment' (OE) quality as standard your service with PSC Autocentre means that your car has its warranty protected.
All MINI digital service history is updated and/or service books are stamped on every service we do - and each MINI service we perform carries our 1 Year, 10,000 Mile parts and labour guarantee.
UPDATING YOUR CONNECTED ONBOARD SERVICE MONITORING
After completing your service, we will update your Digital Service History via our approved MINI digital account, with a direct link to the BMW/MINI Germany HQ database.
We then transfer the updated information from the Digital Service History database directly onto your vehicle – you’ll find it in under Service History in the onscreen menu. Exactly how this displays for you will vary slightly depending on your vehicle model and specification, below we’ve included some typical examples below.
Your vehicle then automatically updates the service information stored on your key.
