Air Conditioning Regas
Air Conditioning Regas - Presently we can only regas vehicles registered up to 30th May 2016 using R-134a gas.
Note: All new vehicles (all categories) produced from January 1st 2017 must use a new refrigerant called HFO-1234yf which we are unable to regas at the present time.
If you're unsure which gas your vehicle requires then lift the bonnet and inspect the refrigerant label to ensure you have R-134a gas. The label is generally on the front panel within easy view.

It's a common misconception that you only need air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer months. Whilst the ability to turn the car into a fridge for our one day of British summer warmth is very nice indeed, the main purpose of air conditioning is to dehumidify the air within the vehicle to keep the screens from misting up with moisture.
We would go so far as to say that Aircon is more important in winter than summer!
Keeping the system in full running order makes sense all year round. Your vehicle’s air conditioning system not only keeps the temperature right for you and your passengers, it also filters out pollen, dust and deposits from fumes, and minimises condensation.
Continuous use of your air conditioning helps to maintain the system’s optimum performance, but to keep your system operating at peak efficiency, the pollen micro-filters should be maintained at regular intervals and the correct level of refrigerant gas should be checked and replaced

Accurate Aircon Servicing
Fully Automatic Delphi AirCon ServiceAt PSC Autocentre we reduce costs, waiting time and errors by using the latest generation of Delphi Aircon equipment.
The machine drains any old refrigerant, applies a vacuum to ensure all moisture is removed from the system, drains and injects compressor oil, adds tracer dye (just in case of a leak developing) and refills the correct amount of R134a Refridgerant for your vehicle.
All done with a press of a button on the machine.

Advanced Aircon DiagnosticsIf your AirCon isn't working or doesn't seem to be working properly, we can help. Our diagnostics team will investigate for you.
We can test the AirCon compressor and, if necessary, we provide a rebuild on your unit or source a reconditioned replacement if yours is beyond repair.
