Audi RS4 B8 - Front Transfer Box & Rear Final Drive Oil Changes - For Models With Standard Rear Differential

For the B8 versions of RS4 with standard rear differential it's critical that the following oils listed below are changed regularly to ensure they are kept in peak condition. Old or dirty oils are prone to overheating and breaking down leading to premature wear and failure of the sophisticated 4WD system. Audi service schedule recommends these oils are changed every 40,000 miles.
- Quattro front transfer box oil (rear chamber on 0B5 gearbox)
- Rear differential oil (Standard Ring & Pinion Diff)
What happens when we perform an oil change
During an oil change, we check for any leaks. We completely drain the oil before filling it with the correct recommended high-quality gearbox oil that meets manufacturer standards.
