For all Mercedes-Benz vehicles the recommended interval for replacing brake fluid is every 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Why your brake fluid needs changing
Brake fluid must withstand operating temperatures of up to 230°C. Over time, brake fluid absorbs water, which boils at 100°C making it less effective. If too much water is absorbed, the brake fluid can boil and turns into compressible vapour which means you won't be able to brake as efficiently.
As part of a brake fluid service, our trained technicians will remove all used brake fluid from the vehicles braking system. The vehicles braking system will then be recharged with approved brake fluid to help ensure your brakes perform at their best. In addition, your vehicle will be returned to you with an updated service history.
