At PSC, we’re Gloucestershire’s leading independent German vehicle service centre. Known for our attention to detail, technical standards, and customer-first approach, we deliver dealership-level care with a more personal touch.

We’re now looking to welcome an additional Senior Technician to our established and growing team. You’ll be part of a positive, high-performing workshop where mutual support, technical pride, and professionalism are part of the culture — not just the job description.

Our 10-ramp, bright, and well-equipped facility provides an environment where you can focus on delivering great work, without the pressure of sales targets or bonus schemes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🛠 Carrying out high-quality servicing and mechanical repairs across a range of German marques.
📋 Completing thorough inspections and accurate reporting of vehicle condition.
🧰 Handling a range of repairs — from routine maintenance to more in-depth mechanical work (e.g. brakes, suspension, timing belts, timing chains, clutches).
🚗 Road testing vehicles and proactively identifying any performance or safety concerns.
✅ Performing MOT tests in line with DVSA standards (if you're not currently qualified, training and certification will be provided).
🤝 Collaborating with an experienced, friendly team of 8 technicians to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ A qualified and experienced technician (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with a solid background in vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs.
✔ Ideally, you’ll be a qualified MOT Tester (DVSA Smart Card), or ready to train and gain the qualification with our support.
✔ Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistently high-quality work.
✔ Great time management and organisational skills — able to work efficiently without cutting corners.
✔ A team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to support others when needed.
✔ Experience in a main dealer or respected independent garage environment is beneficial, but not essential.
✔ Full UK driving licence.
